Two things to know before you read the venue prices below. First, Da Nang has two different "luxury" markets: independent city spas top out around 1,000,000–1,200,000 VND, while the resort spas on the Non Nuoc strip start where the city spas end. Second, several mid-range spas post a list price and a lower promotional price side by side; the promo price is the real one.

What each tier actually charges
Budget: 290,000–350,000 VND
The cheapest posted rate at any well-reviewed Da Nang spa is Silk Spa in An Thuong: 290,000 VND for a 60-minute body or foot massage, 390,000 for 90 and 490,000 for 120, with short foot sessions from 130,000 VND. Busy, honest and a four-minute walk from the beach. Below this you are into the visually-impaired massage centres in Thanh Khe, which do not publish prices; travellers report roughly 120,000–180,000 VND an hour, so call ahead.
Mid-range: 400,000–800,000 VND
This is where most of the city's 4.9-rated rooms sit. Chill Out Spa on Do Ba posts 399,000 VND for a 60-minute foot massage, 450,000 for aromatherapy or hot stone and 599,000 for its 90-minute full body. Queen Spa behind My Khe beach is the one venue with a complete list in both VND and USD: natural-oil body massage 500,000 VND (60 min) or 750,000 (90), hot stone 550,000–950,000, Thai 650,000–830,000, and four hands 1,100,000–1,800,000. Luxury Healthy Spa on Tran Bach Dang charges 495,000 VND for its 60-minute healthy massage (oils, hot stones, acupressure and a foot soak), 540,000 for Thai and 990,000 for four hands, with 10% off for booking online.
Boutique and premium city spas: 600,000–1,900,000 VND
L Spa in An Thuong runs 490,000 VND for a classic hour, 610,000–980,000 for its signature treatment and up to 1,900,000 for a 150-minute bamboo session, with snacks and drinks included. Luxury Herbal Spa, the name Da Nang residents give first, prices everything "from": 630,000 VND for foot balance or its herbal aroma journey, 950,000 for the herbal oil journey, 1,350,000 for four hands and 2,100,000 for the six-hands essence.
Resort spas: from 1,400,000 VND
On the Non Nuoc strip the price jumps. V-Senses at Furama lists its signature therapy at 2,000,000–2,400,000 VND, Thai massage at 2,200,000 and volcanic stone at 2,700,000, but its evening "Golden Hours" aromatherapy is 1,400,000 and its "Beat The Heat" day package for local and expat guests (pool, sauna, 60-minute aromatherapy and a 500,000 VND food voucher) is 1,799,000. Maia Spa at Fusion sells a daily retreat at 2,500,000 VND per person, reserved 24 hours ahead by email. A 60-minute massage at the InterContinental on Son Tra is reported around 1,800,000 VND; the resort does not publish rates.
What the price includes

Posted discounts are normal, haggling is not
Reputable Da Nang spas publish their discounts rather than negotiate: online booking codes worth 10%, happy-hour rates before 2pm, repeat-visit discounts. If a price is being negotiated on the pavement or changes once you are on the table, you are in the wrong place.
Tipping in Da Nang
There is no fixed rule, and the sources disagree. Local spas call tipping "genuinely optional" and suggest 50,000–100,000 VND for a session you loved; others say around 10%. Vietnamese customers tip 10,000–20,000 VND or nothing. Some travellers do report being pressed for a tip, or handed short change; the fix is to pay the exact posted price and decide the tip yourself.

On the mid tier Da Nang and Hoi An are close. Hoi An is cheaper at the bottom of the market; Da Nang is dearer at the top because it has the five-star beach strip. The two are 28 km apart and several spa groups run both cities off one price list, so a Hoi An session is a realistic option on a Da Nang trip.
